2024 Jenkintown Golf League Fee

This year's fee for a full time player spot entitles players to the following:

  1. A full time spot on a team

  2. 13 prepaid rounds of golf. 1 preseason and 12 in-season competitive rounds

  3. All post season rounds

Full-Time Player Payment Instructions: 

$250.00 fee for Full-Time Season and Carts. (Walkers are $125.00 upon approval of Commissioner)

Payment Method: Two Options to Pay: Venmo or Drop off Cash or Check

Option 1: Venmo using @Megan-Ferry-6 (Preferred Method of Payment)

Instructions: To use Venmo point your mobile phone camera at either picture below to access the Venmo Application and account. You can also type in the account name directly into the app. When using the application, be sure to use the “friends and family” option or “no fee transfer” option so that no processing fees are incurred. If you will be using an option that will require a fee (i.e.: your credit card) please add 5.0% to your fee to cover processing.

Option 2: Pay Using a Check

Instructions: You can also drop of a check at my home. Make the check out to Daniel Ferry. Please put in an envelope, write you name and drop off at 1121 Fox Chase Road Jenkintown, PA 19046

Terms and Conditions to Your Payment

Waiver and Release: I (player) releases from liability and waives the right to sue The Abington Club, (located at 300 Meetinghouse Road Jenkintown, PA 19046), their owners, employees, officers, volunteers, and golf league organizers (collectively “the Club”) from any and all claims, including claims of the Club’s negligence, resulting in any physical injury, illness (including death) or economic loss I may suffer or which may result from my participation in activities at the Abington Club. Furthermore, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the activities at the Abington Club. I agree to hold the Club harmless from any and all claims, loss or damage to my personal property, including medical and attorney’s fees, as a result of my voluntary participation in activities at the Abington Club. I have read this document, and I am signing it freely. I understand the legal consequences of signing this agreement, including (a) releasing the Club from all liability, (b) waiving my right to sue the Club, and (c) assuming ALL risks of participating in activities at the Abington Club.  By paying this fee, I agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.

To Agree to the Waiver and Release Using these 4 Steps:

Refunds:  Refunds will not be granted, unless you are able to find a replacement for your full time spot.  Refunds will be net of processing fees. 

Weather Cancellations:  If a round is cancelled due to poor weather, that evening's round will be made up at a later date. 

Practice Rounds and Playoffs:  Practice rounds and Playoffs are NOT included in your Fee.  Teams that advance to the playoffs will be required to pay The Abington Club $18 per round. 

Fee Exceptions:  Fee Exceptions will not be made if you have a membership at the Abington Club.  Your Fee is for golf, but it is mostly to offset the cost associated with the Abington Club closing the course on Monday evening's. 

Walkers: we will not offer this option this year.
